Another quality post. Twitter is a great networking tool, but I’ve noticed more adverts – Twits posting ads for Coke, Nike, etc.

There are also lots of books on monetizing Twitter but as soon as I see an ad tweet I block that follower. It’s social media suicide.

I’ve also encountered Tweet porn! Twitter doesn’t seem to have much of a business model, its TOS are non-existent and it looks like anything goes, at least at this early stage of Twitter.

I hope the folks at this SMS on steroids get their act together. I find I’m blocking more and more followers who are turning Twitter into a spam wall. (Not you, of course.)

You know why Twitter is great? It forces us to cut through the bullshit and get to the point. And when we do post bullshit, it’s clearly bullshit for the sake of bullshit, which I can respect.
