Joy in a video, Chia Obama, and faces in (unexpected) places

Here are three things that made me smile this week…

  1. I tweeted this, but for those of you without Twitter, this video is guaranteed to leave you grinning. I promise.
  2. Every Thursday, Craig Wieczorkiewicz at The Bread Line makes me smile with his ongoing saga, “Thursdays with Chia Obama.” Craig was inspired to purchase and write about his own Chia Obama when chia pet creator Joseph Pedott presented the POTUS with one. Craig’s Thursday installments have been funny, occasionally sad (Chia Obama lost all his hair and he cried real tears), and surprisingly poignant. This week’s installment was one of his best.
  3. Faces In Places is just plain fun. A photographic collection of faces found in everyday places, it is full of smiles to make you smile.

  1. I was actually already slighly bright before reading these, I am once again back at full illumination. Thanks Jude :)

  2. Great stuff. I’m going to have to ask Craig if his Chia Obama has any peculiar odors (Don’t worry, it’s all about the science, not the man.) The old ones did.

I took a leisurely stroll on the faces website. Some good, some bad. The “face in a glass” you posted was my favorite, it turns out. Here’s one that intrigued me because it was so fleeting:

  7. OMG. I love the Faces in Places site. Thanks, J!

(The first vid I love. It is even on my website! Love it!)

  8. Linda, you make me laugh. Happy to broaden your horizons!

Karen, I know! Chad and I watched it and he said, we should have done something cool like that. =)

Terre, You’re welcome! About to hop over to your blog and comment on pinschers! (Well, Great Danes actually…)

  9. Carey, I think what’s fun is that because we’re looking for the faces we see them. I wonder if we’d notice them out in the world…

Let's talk.
