Zebra Sounds

Facebook J

There are these quizzes you can waste time with take on Facebook and they tell you all kinds of inane interesting things about yourself. You can learn, for instance, which kind of cupcake you are, or what topping you’d be on a pizza. (I made those two up. They don’t exist. I don’t think.) Whenever you take a quiz, you can invite your friends to take it as well, and that way all the pink sprinkled cupcakes can hang out together and make fun of the sky blue bubblegum rainbow ones.

Last night, feeling inexplicably shallow and brain dead philosophical and curious, I took every quiz recently taken by friends of mine. Here is a J-list that represents my Facebook self (not that you asked).

  1. Which historical figure am I? Marie Curie. (Rocking the scientific world, baby, that’s me.)
  2. Classic Hollywood actress: Ava Gardner.
  3. Element: Fire. (What else?)
  4. Animal: Wolf.
  5. How cool am I? Cool enough for most people. (So the real question is, are you “most people?”)
  6. My real age: teenager.
  7. Power animal: Horse. (I don’t know what a power animal is… but I like that mine can give me a ride.)
  8. Where should I live? San Francisco. (My friends got Italy and Spain and A Tropical Island. I got 40 minutes from where I live. I feel cheated somehow.)
  9. Shakespeare character: Juliet. (Juliet and Marie Curie. Interesting. Not.)
  10. Jimmy Buffet song: Pirate Looks at 40.

There you go. Facebook J at a glance. (Kinda makes you glad you don’t know me over there, right?)

And now for something completely different. Find out the #1 Billboard song for your birthdate. Mine was “Big Girls Don’t Cry.” What’s yours?

    Very funny and entertaining post.

Marie Curie and Juliet are not a bad combination actually, especially if you stir in a teenage Ava Gardner that can also give you a ride! Can’t explain the Jimmy Buffet song though.

Who is JB? That person is funny ;-) Loved today’s post, I was actually looking at the clock today thinking ‘oh, it’s 7 — almost time for Zebra Sounds to come through!’ Then, I was distracted by that pesty thing called work, I keep trying to make magically disappear. I love the cross-out’s, I will have to try that on my boss the next time I send a version of my draft Board Meeting Minutes — to spice them up a bit. You know imitation is the Highest Form of Compliment, right? Amazingly, I haven’t taken any of those quizzes; however, I did do the 200+ question Interview. I think I told you that I started to get scared of Identity Theft. As if anyone would want to be me. I’m getting to be like a Female Wooddy Allen here, well, minus the brillance, fame and fortune and most of the sexual perversions. Wow, that’s way off point, sorry. O.k., well, maybe that could be a new Internet Quiz — which depressive celebrity are you? hehe Anyhow, thank you soooo much for brightening my days!!
