Well, it certainly is BOLD to take on being bold every day for the rest of this year. Yikes! And good for you!

As jb says, the definition of bold is pretty subjective...so it was great to run through your filters about being bold (that you've seen in others) and watch you step into your boldness. Yay!

Very inspiring...way to go, Big Bad Bold J.!!!

interesting! i wonder... is there a universal definition of "boldness"? or are all those airplane-jumping-hot-doggin-mountain-biker-stage-standing bold people looking at other people saying "i wish i was bold like them"? is boldness in the eye of the beholder?

either way - i'm looking forward to hearing about your adventures! :-)

Blogging IS bold. Here's why i think so...

Every time I leave a comment, it gets easier.

I've had dozens of times on this or that site where I felt passionate enough to want to leave a comment, before I got brave enough to finally get the nerve to actually leave a comment.

The first time I actually left one was really hard, time consuming. I double checked, deleted, started over, re-checked, poured over it again and again before clicking on that HUGE scary "submit" button. Then I read it three more times after posting it, even after it was too late to change it or take it back.

The next time, weeks later when I felt the urge again, was still really hard, but not as bad as that first one, but it still felt bold and scary.

Now, after many times of doing it, it's pretty easy to do.

But actually owning a blog, working it every day...now THAT's bold! Don't underestimate the significance of that daunting undertaking!

Keep it up, and good luck on your daily "bold" challange. I'll try it too.
